I checked with a school teacher and there is no way Raye legitimately has retirement of any amount from the California System.  The only subject she taught was English as a Second Language and that for about five years, if she was telling me the truth.  Of course, that is always problematical, given the information comes from Raye.

Ms. Smith did not go to work for Condit. Arriving in California she drove her Mother to a meeting and on the way met Gunther Russbacher.

Giving parties, unless the party is a fundraiser you organize, or you are hosting, donating the event, makes you a caterer, not a political activist. But this is the only 'work' Ms. Smith could cite.

Gary Condit was no reformer. Popular, he began his political career right out of college. After graduation he was elected to City Council in Ceres, California, then to the office of Mayor in 1974. Two years later he began a six year term on the Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors. This was followed by election to California State Assembly in 1982. In 1989 he was elected to fill the seat emptied by the resignation of Republican Tony Coehlo in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Politically, Condit had ties to John Fund, an up and coming political operative who during this same period of time went from looking a position as an intern for the California legislature to holding a seat on the Electoral Board of the Wall Street Journal. Positioned as a political pundit his real career had started in California as a political operative for the Kochs in 1979. (See Raimondo Antiwar.com, John Fund vs. the Truth, 2006)

Gary Condit made a career in politics and was no reformer, rather, he was a 'business' politician, ready to make deals for his own benefit.

Condit and Fund are examples of the apolitical interface to power which ensures control by those who really hold power, the corporations. Such individuals often have skeletons in the closet which can be used to control them, if necessary. But sometimes these skeletons fall out of the closet at inconvenient times.

He and John Fund shared space in an article titled, “More News You'll Never See On TV! The Wall Street Journal's Resident Pro-Life GOP Moralist Knocks Up His Girlfriend's Daughter... and Lets Her Get an Abortion!, By Tamara Baker. The article offered a highly fictionalized version of a story just then hitting the media involving John Fund and my daughter in early September, 2001.

It is significant that Ms. Smith never mentioned her connection with Condit in relation to her truncated political career. Because of her social relationship with Condit, and the linkages with Fund, it is unlikely Ms. Smith could have remained unaware of the Fund scandal. But she never mentioned it to me. MORE

So Raye is overdrawn yet again.  But she has money for things which are luxuries today.  Do you really want to subsidize her?  How many mortgage payments are you from homelessness today?  Think about it.

MORE Money Problems

Just when I thought I had everything under control and I could survive on the money that comes in, I went to my bank to deposit a check and found out that I was over $200.00 overdrawn. I couldn't believe it. I hadn't spent more than $10.00 and there was at least $40.00 in there.
I wasn't feeling very good yesterday. I kept toying with the idea of going to the ER while the driveway was clear and we could get there. But I really didn't want to go. So instead, we went into town to check the post office box. There was one check so we drove from the post office to the bank.
I was yet to discover that I was over $200.00 overdrawn. So I stopped at Walmart to pickup some more dog and Christmas Cat food... in case I haven't mentioned it... I had a small and starving black cat adopt me on Christmas morning. I call him/her the Christmas Cat. She/he's gained weight and is extremely loving and playful.
When I saw the printout from the ATM that refused to give me money, I couldn't believe it. Instead of having around $50.00, I was over $200.00 overdrawn. When you have as little money as I have, $200.00 feels more like $2,000 overdrawn.
I waited til I got home to call the bank's problem line. I found out that the problem really wan't my banks. It was a credit card that I thought I had canceled. It was one that I didn't order and I refused to keep because it cost $25.00 a month even though you have never used it.
The charge came in and there was still enough money in the account to cover it. But the next charge to come in as from Walmart and there was not enough in the account to cover it. My bank paid for it and then charged me $35.00 for covering it.
But there was not enough money in the account to cover the purchase made at a convenience store, so there was another $35.00 charge.
Two more small charges came in, one foe $10.00 and the other was about the same... I don't remember what is was. But there was another $35.00 charge for having insufficient funds to cover it. Eventually the charges added up to over $200.00 and that's how the account became overdrawn just as I thought the money problems were almost solved.
I was still overdrawn at my bank and I feared that the charges would just keep piling on until there's some money I can put in the account.
The man from my bank pointed out the credit card that kept charging me $25.00 a month. He said that the bank keeps a list of questionable cards and this on was on it.
He then told me that to keep them from ever charging me again, that the best advise he had was to close the account and open a new one.
He also said that it would be a while before the money gets put back in the account.
I still have 6 more days before I get paid again... retirement is good especially when you have retirement checks and social security coming in.
But now, I am flat broke again and still need to pay off this bank account.

I am putting all this money in the Fundrazer widget and I am considering this all part of doing business online.

Agent 86 reports in on more stupidities from Princess Raye

Raye decided to move out to the Austinberg area, well away from any sources for food and into a house which is far too large for a single woman who should be down-sizing and looking at the need to be near medical and other resources essential for older Americans in need of medical interventions on a regular basis.  

She conned her 'Readers' into subsidizing this move and has always lived far beyond what she says are her resources to 'make Rumor Mill eternally available as a source of truth.'  If, like many others, you read this site you will see what hogwash this is.  

We are now facing an economy which is going to plunge to new lows. Given these facts it seems to me anyone who is offering Raye help should do so by locating her an apartment in the Ashtabula Towers.  It is a pet friendly facility which provides assistance with food.  

Or, if Raye disposed of her storage units she could lower her expenses and find other housing in Ashtabula.  She knows, or at least she told me, her siblings are not going to help her due to past estrangements. The Duke and Duchess of Manchester are also on very limited funds now that they appear to have been kicked off the gravy train for the continued attempts to bring about my death; likewise Morgan and her hubby Jay.  

It is easy for me to feel entirely unsympathetic here.  Read the show site for NeoCons.

So, time to attend to her problems.  Provide no funds.  Urge her to move as soon as possible and put in her application at Ashtabula Towers.  Cheers,  Melinda

The Snow is higher than I've ever seen it

I was going to take some photos and post them, but it was too cold to even go into the outer rooms... let alone go outside. It's supposed to be a little warmer for a day before plunging back down into the teens and lower. It was 12 degrees yesterday with a wind chill of -7. Being a Californian, I am not used to weather like this. It's beautiful to look at, but thank god I don't have to be out in it.
I have to have the driveway cleared today because I have to go to the hospital. The pain has gotten worse. I don't remember when I slept more than 3 hours and I still have nothing stronger than ibuprofen.
I need to pay to have the driveway cleared and to buy something that will help the pain.
I have no reserve to help me when things get tough, I only have RMN and my readers. If you can help out without hurting yourself, please know how grateful I am.

Raye did not marry Kooker until late in his life.  If there was a problem, it was his first wife, the mother of his children who waited while he served, who was impacted.  Raye's problem with Diabetes, if such exists, comes from her over-the-top indulgence in food, focusing on things which are clearly unhealthy.  She should provide a recent photo of herself to prove she has taken hold of her urges.

Eyesight fails.  Do you have proof, Raye?  Why should anyone believe you on your word since you lie with such enthusiasm and seeming sincerity?  

Well, since you can't use the Jeep it is good it is no longer a problem, right?

Again, I suggest you get a small apartment in town, close to a place where you can buy healthy food.  The Community Garden supplies food to the folks in the Tower, and that would work for you as you will be close to public transportation and not out in the country, away from everything you now say you need. 

Or invite your best friends, Alexander, 13th Duke of Manchester and his wife, to move in and share the expenses in your multiple bedroom home.

I Really Need Help

Many of you know that I have not been doing well for many months now. My diabetes has worsened and I now have to give myself shots. And I hate shots to the point that my subconscious tells me to forget them, which makes the diabetes even worse.
My eyesight has started to worsen. I have to put the computer on the largest magnification to even see what I am typing.
The overall body pain that mimics fibromyalgia is also associated with the diabetes.
I have to stand to use the computer because sitting causes more pain than I can handle. Riding in a car is torture. I have to stop every 15 minutes or so and walk around the Jeep a few times for the pain to go away.
The only position that is comfortable is standing and walking. You can imagine that I get very little sleep.
I can get no pain pills because all the doctors are afraid to prescribe for fear they will lose their license. Ohio is the worst state for illegal drug abuse and unfortunately they don't distinguish legitimate prescription pain pill users with those people who sell them to people who are hooked on them and need them for a fix.
In the middle of all of this, my Jeep died. The damage was substantial and so was the bill. I was fortunate that several of my larger donors had sent me checks for exactly what the bill came to... a little over $1500.00. But the problems didn't stop there. I finally realized that I had to retire my 20 year old Jeep and find a reliable car.
I borrowed the money from Paypal and found a newer Jeep that I could afford. The agreement I made with Paypal was for them to take 25% out of every bit of money I receive.
And then there was the news that I had not paid for the RMN server in 8 months... I really thought that I had. I had to raise the money is less than two days or RMN would be no more.
I thank everyone who heard the call and helped out.
This time it's my electricity that will be turned off if I don't raise the money right now to pay the bill which is over $600.00.
It will soon be followed by the phone bill which is also my internet connection.
I try very hard to keep all the balls in the air... but with my health problems and the pain, sometimes I just can't.
My husband David died of agent orange related diabetes and heart problems. Years ago the news came out that the men coming back from Viet Nam were passing agent orange on to their wives. I am going down the same road that David went down, but mine is not as advanced as his was... yet!
I am writing to tell you why I have not found another way to supplement my income so that I don't have to come to you constantly for help. And I need help now.
For those who know me and have followed RMN for many years, you know that I would not be absent if I could help it.
If you feel moved to help me, I will be very grateful.
