The story memorialized on this site regarding Rayelan, also known as Raye Allen, Darlene Rae Smith, and other alias'. We are working to bring into the time line all documentable events.
1992 - 1995
Rayelan and Gunther cut a swath through Austria, financed inventively by using other people's credit cards to supposedly pay for Gunther's Coronation as Arch Duke of Austria.
Gunther is arrested in Austria. Rayelan flees to the United States where she begins panhandling to raise enough money to pay her phone bill, which she says is $2,000. All of this is reported in Phoenix Source Distributors where articles from the Phoenix Journal appear, first enthusiastically supportive of the duo and then, as the light bulb goes on, denouncing them as con-artists.
1996
Gunther dumps Rayelan, who abandoned him in Austria, evidently saying to her acquaintances, he would be better of someplace where he could get treatment for his alcoholism.

July The Lee Family Express their Gratitude to their beloved Rayelan
The Lee family moved Rayelan from the house she was losing in California
to Ohio. They packed up her things for her and drove her back to Ohio.
Rayelan told me they were already stealing from her but later
commented over and over that items she had reported stolen had been
found.

Rayelan scotch taped the notice to my bedroom door. She had made this up from a
source on the Internet which is illegal in Ohio, while I was at a Vestry meeting at the
church we were both then attending in Ashtabula.
My son, Arthur, walked to church and told me about what he had found taped to my
bedroom door. Arthur is disabled, having survived two brain injuries. I am his full time
caretaker.
September 10 - Demand Letter from Bloom, Attorney-at-Law
Raye ignored the letter and the Notice of Certified letter cards which arrived. After
waiting to see if she would finally respond I received another Eviction Notice, this one
handed me by Steve Leubking, who does handiwork for Raye. It was also illegal. Raye
had, again, declined to follow the law. But this time she said she was working closely with a
County Prosecutor.
Leubking handed it to me by walking into the bathroom where I was then busy.
November 29 - Eviction Notice II
Ms. Bloom wrote another letter, telling Raye we intended to litigate.
December 16 - Letter of Intent to Sue
