Hobie tried, again, to explain the RMN Business Plan.

Well, it is nice to know Hobie is reading Insights.  Thanks again Agent 86!

Hi, Folks -
Reader S. writes, and I'll respond following:

Re: Some say I'm panhandling, but imagine if R....
Panhandling? Try lying and stealing, you two are a couple of scammers. How is it that the 'advertising' does not cover the site expenses? Nice try telling the readers that you could actually charge a subscription for STEALING other people's work product. Try it, you will see what happens real quickly.
Rense has a reposting site he does not beg or charge a subscription. You are a liar.
No reasonable person would question the ethics of someone selling their own content - even if it was totally wretched.  No one would have to buy, so there is no issue.  "Here, buy my opinion on how Donald Trump combs his hair."  The marketplace takes care of such issues.
But reposting sites do not charge subscriptions, they sell advertising.

(hobie here.) Thanks for the, uh, charming letter. :)
Sounds like an honest letter to me.  You and Raye are two ugly characters and not in a position to complaint about being questioned.  Raye is, or course,l liar.  But among the statements she made to me was the need to raise at least $1,500 for Jeff Gordon - Hobie as his monthly fee for  webmastering RMN.  No documentation was provided.  Then she told me she had to raise money to pay Jeff Gordon-Hobie's property taxes, which was some larger amount of money, as well.  True?  A lie?  Jeff does not anyone to know who he is.  He remains a cypher who is known to webmaster for other sites as well with similar game plans.   Neither of these people provide any information on them selves.

And it is not the CIA they are hiding from.  It is from their Readers, who, if they actually viewed the day to day operation would be horrified.

And now Jeff-Hobie says they are finally going to get the ads which are no longer paying off the site?  The site was full of those, given to friends of Raye's or paying her in kind, when I started handling the advertising.  It was clear why Raye could not do them herself after I was there for a while.  She never processes her mail, always being busy with buying matching dog dishes or reading tabloids.  Raye do research?  What a joke.

After my initial cleaning up of the place so we could work it rapidly deteriorated in every part of the place she worked.  Then she tried moving boxes into my work area and I put my foot down.  I hate clutter.

So, is Jeff going to take over selling advertising?  Will Angel be doing it again?  It certainly will not bring in enough to support the site at the level these scammers claim to need because the hits have dropped so much.
Most of the ads you see aren't paying much of anything; a lot of the in-house ads pay only when they result in sales of a product, and quite a few of them are left-overs, no longer being paid for at all. We expect to go through them all soon and eliminate the ones that aren't providing.
FYI, the money that comes in as Reader contributions doesn't go to me - none of it. All of it goes toward site costs and to the publisher, where some of it is paying for what it takes to -be- the publisher (e.g., Internet connection, etc.)

True, Rense makes a lot of material available at no charge - but he does also have a subscription for his radio show and archives.
Rense can sell his podcasts and access to his archive.  They belong to him.
My point is that we have no idea how much comes in from those subscriptions, and no idea whether the money goes toward production costs or directly into his pocket - and we shouldn't care, either. It's his concern, not yours or ours.
We don't care.  Those items are not stolen.
The difference here is that we let you know how much is needed and generally where it's going.
Post the bills and the vendors, Jeff.  Inquiring minds can make phone calls.

Dear Hobie, No you're not panhandling.

However, I recommend strongly that you make your service for subscribers only. That way, you won't have as much headache.

    Cheers,
    jd

    1. i second that motion! Then, Jeff and Raye will be extracting money from people who are entirely in alignment with them or too dumb to think Perfect.

    2. Except there will not be enough paid subscriptions to cover their lifestyles, and no potential for advertising which means many of the 'agents' quit. But best of all, you cannot steal other people's work product and then sell it as a subscription. Hobie and Rayelan know this, that is why they constantly harp on being such 'givers' and keeping the site free to those who cannot afford to pay. Jeff and Raye, now there are a couple of philanthropists, said no one ever.

    3. Oh well, details, details. Raye can stop going to garage sales, eat less, and stop paying a clutch of people to 'work' for her.

  2. Rayelan does not seem to agree with Hobie the liar regarding advertising, of course this was from last June, good thing they have their priorities when it comes to scamming money from gullible readers. Conclusion, begging is much easier than selling paying advertising for her loser, reposting site. No rush to fix that advertising eh Hobie?

Sigh... Raising money for RMN is so hard for me. does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can keep from begging you readers for money every month? RMN has enough traffic, we should be making at least $20,000 a month from banner ads. There must be someone in our reading audience who can teach me how to make more money from banner ads so I don't have to beg every month. It depresses me more than you can imagine to have to beg like this every month.

There is a post by Rayelan herself where she states that she needs to get some money to Hobie, but Hobie magnanimously tells Rayelan to raise the money for the past due server bills first before worrying about how much he needs.

Hobie, is a bald faced shameless arrogant liar

    1. When I was doing the advertising you refused to take down the glut of free ads. Your dogs had to have their free jerky and on and on and on. And then your direct lie about having the capital to redesign the site and build the template for ad placement. And remember what it took to persuade you to raise the prices to what other sites were getting? But you gummed it up with that intrusive popup advertising which just appeared - no clients to deal with. So now you have it just as you like it.

  3. Hobie thinks he knows of one bill that may have come by now, probably the $300 or $400 server bill. Please do not give any more money folks, you have already paid more than twice over for the site expenses.

    * Thanks for the Contributions - Please keep 'em coming *

    Hi, Folks -

Many thanks to the score or so of folks who have contributed $705 toward RMN's September expenses at time of this posting. :)

We're far short of our goal, presently; not sure how that's gonna work out. I'm aware of at least one bill that must have arrived by now.

Please contribute if you're able and would find it fitting.

    Blessings, all.

    1. Dr. Robert Hare asserts that all conmen are psychopaths. Jeff Gordon would, therefore, be a psychopath. Psychopaths, having no empathy or conscience make money by simulating empathy and love no one. Therefore, simulating a belief in those things which call us to conscience and empathy toward each other are, in their hands, only tools. This is why it creeps me out every time Jeff-Hobie-Zap-Zapper uses the word, "Blessings." Thanks for the comment, sskids. They are soooo creepy.
