Well, we met in Small Claims Court in front of the same Magistrate Melinda got recused from the other case.
Melinda said when Raye claimed sudden poverty and an inability to pay for the promised redesign she found Karl Loveless, an RMN Reader, who volunteers to design a new front page. Raye loved it but the Readers, she said, hated it so it was not used. But she gave Karl and old car for his work so Melinda was WRONG about Raye not having paid for work done.
Karl would have done the work without even getting a steering wheel, you know.
Raye could hardly contain herself. She said Melinda came to Ohio, 3,000 miles, just to have a place to stay but, generous soul that she is, Raye paid for the trip and called ahead for the hotel rooms, putting them on her credit card.
Melinda started producing Exhibits.
Raye claimed not to have seen the exhibits before though they were delivered to her certified mail. Let's remember she never opened the other certified letters sent my Melinda's attorney in California.
But then Raye scored big. Melinda produced a copy of the business cards made for Rubicon Aegis, LLC. Melinda has maintained that she was enticed to come to Ohio partly by the offer of a partnership in Rubicon Aegis and the increase in profits which would result from a redesign. As she handed the exhibit over she said she, Melinda, made them at Raye's request as soon as Melinda arrived in Ohio.
And Raye practically boiled out of her seat and said, "No! I made those business cards myself!!!!!"
OK, Raye, have it your way.
